SIKSIKA WINTER POWWOW – JAN 1 & 2, 2022 – POSTPONED The Siksika Winter Pow Wow scheduled for January 1 & 2, 2022 has been postponed. Chief and Council and the Pow Wow Committee made the decision today to postpone the upcoming event due to the increase of COVID-19 cases in Siksika. The powwow will proceed at a future date when it is safe to do so.

New Outdoor Rink for Siksika

Siksika Nation Opens Calgary Flames Outdoor Rink Alongside Partners and Friends A new ODR (outdoor rink) at the Deerfoot Sportsplex was officially unveiled on Tuesday, December 7th, alongside friends and partners from the Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation (CSEC). The rink is the product of a direct relationship with the Calgary Flames Foundation and was first announced in the early spring of 2021.
