Siksika Nation Opens Calgary Flames Outdoor Rink Alongside Partners and Friends A new ODR (outdoor rink) at the Deerfoot Sportsplex was officially unveiled on Tuesday, December 7th, alongside friends and partners from the Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation (CSEC). The rink is the product of a direct relationship with the Calgary Flames Foundation and was first announced in the early spring of 2021. The Crown-Indigenous Relations Minister visits Siksika Nation The Honourable Marc Miller Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations visits Siksika Nation today and was given a tour by Siksika Nation Chief and Council. Led by Chief Ouray Crowfoot, the tour included a stop at Old Sun Community College and Blackfoot Crossing, where Treaty No. 7 was signed.
