Siksika Nation will host annual Fair & Powwow in September 2021

Siksika Nation Fair 2021

The Siksika Nation Fair 2021 is scheduled for September 2021 in Siksika and will look a little different this year. Due to COVID-19, the committee has staggered the dates of the annual fair.

  • Golf Tournament: September 10 – 12, 2021
  • Fastball Tournament: September 10 – 12, 2021
  • FCA Rodeo: September 17 – 19, 2021
  • Slo-Pitch Tournament: September 17 – 19, 2021
  • Hand Game: September 24 – 26, 2021
  • Pow Wow: September 24 – 26, 2021

Master of Ceremonies: Howie Thompson from Carry The Kettle First Nation (SK) and Travis Plaited Hair from Kainai Nation

Host Drum: Bear Creek from Sault Ste Marie (ON)

The Siksika Nation Fair and Pow Wow committee remain committed to protecting the community and visitors and will continue to monitor all COVID-19 updates and recommendations set out by Siksika Health Services.

All visitors must comply with all COVID-19 precautions set out by Siksika Health Services including wearing a mask when its required, sanitize often and practice safe social distance protocols. The committee encourages all visitors to get tested prior to attending the event or to stay home if you are sick. It is also encouraged for community and visitors to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
