The Solid Waste Department is informing Siksika Nation residents of temporary delays in blue bin pick-up due to necessary repairs on the community’s garbage trucks.
While repairs are underway, the department is committed to ensuring waste collection continues. To prevent major disruptions, crews are hand-picking the blue bins to ensure that garbage is still being collected.
There is currently no timeline for when regular collection will resume, but updates will be provided as soon as more information is available.
Residents are encouraged to continue placing their blue bins out for collection as usual and to stay tuned for further updates.
