Siksika Media, a department with Siksika Nation Tribal Administration, started over 25 years ago that publishes a monthly publication Aitsiniki Magazine (also available online at Aitsiniki.com) and owns and operates the Siksika community radio station CFXX 104.7 FM. Our primary audience includes Siksika Nation members, employees and residents.

Both forms of media proudly showcase and promote not only the Siksika (Blackfoot) language, but the pride of being Siksikawa and our culture.

Aitsiniki is the Blackfoot word to describe someone telling a story.

AITSINIKI Magazine

Aitsiniki is a 24 page magazine that is published by Siksika Media, a department of the Siksika Nation Tribal Administration. It serves as a platform to share news, stories and events from Siksika Nation and highlights programs and services available to Nation members. Aitsiniki Magazine is available in both print and online at Aitsiniki.com

The publication distributes 500 copies through local organizations and businesses on the reserve and through our Calgary offices monthly.

CFXX 104.7 FM

Siksika’s local radio station CFXX 104.7 FM plays the best pop, rock, country and powwow. Other wise known as the Nation’s Station, the Siksika radio station has gone from 10 watts broadcasting from the band office originally, to broadcasting at 50 watts, serving Siksika Nation members on reserve, with a further global reach via our online streaming presence.

Tune in every week from Monday to Friday to our regular programming with Tyrone, Andrew, Jasmine and Kaylum from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
