Siksika Nation

Support Centre

Siksika Support Centre is guided by the following traditional Siksika Values:

  • Respect – We will respect and meet each person at their level.
Truth – We will ensure that clients receive truthful and fair assessments to determine the best care plan.
  • Compassion – We will treat every person that comes through the doors of SSC with compassion.
  • Cooperation – We will strive to work in cooperation, always, with all services on and off the nation to provide equitable resources to our clients.
  • Integrity – We will be fair, honest, and transparent in our service to all Nation members, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Confidentiality – We will maintain privacy and confidentiality in respect of each person seeking support.

Who are we?

The Siksika Support Centre will be a facility whereby Siksika Service Areas will collaborate to deliver information, emotional/social/cultural supports in addition to integrated, accessible extended hour, wrap around services. This is to strengthen connections with each other, community members, and the Siksika Way of Life.

Created in the spirit of traditional Siksika Values, with interagency partnerships, the Siksika Support Centre is an accessible community centre in which individuals and families will feel welcome and supported. Strengthening relationships between Siksika service areas and the people they serve is integral in building the foundation of the integrated service model.
