Oki Siksika,
Due to the ongoing postal strike, mail services have been disrupted, causing delays for Siksika Nation members and businesses in receiving important documents. The post office is unable to process incoming and outgoing parcels or mail. This includes cheques for vendors and members of the Nation who are expecting payments.
All entities and service areas must still make payments and are responsible for ensuring that vendors receive payments. Payment options include electronic funds transfer or the vendor picking up the Cheque in person at the front desk of the Treasury Department.
