Inauguration Ceremony Held at Siksika Deerfoot Sportsplex
Siksika Nation officially welcomed its newly elected Ohkinniinaa ki Ninaaiks (Chief and Council) on November 27, 2025, during an inauguration ceremony at the Siksika Deerfoot Sportsplex. Surrounded by family and community members, each leader took their oath and delivered remarks reflecting their commitment to the Nation. Chief Samuel Crowfoot was elected Head Chief of Siksika Nation.
