The Siksika Group of Companies (SGOC) is pleased to announce the immediate appointment of Randy Ambrosie as its new President and Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Ambrosie joins SGOC following an extensive national search led by Richardson Executive Search. The Board undertook a comprehensive process to identify a leader with the vision and proven experience in governance, capital stewardship, strategic growth, and values alignment to guide SGOC into its next phase of growth and prosperity.
A nationally respected business and sports leader, Mr. Ambrosie most recently served as the 14th Commissioner of the Canadian Football League from 2017 through April 2025. During his tenure, he worked closely with the league’s Board of Governors and member clubs to position the CFL for long-term sustainability and growth, guided by a commitment to operational excellence and innovation.
Prior to his time as Commissioner, Mr. Ambrosie held senior executive leadership roles in the financial services industry, including President and CEO of MacDougall, MacDougall & MacTier and President of AGF Funds Inc., along with executive positions at HSBC and Merrill Lynch Canada. Over nearly three decades in investment management, he built a reputation for disciplined strategy, collaborative leadership, and strong organizational performance.
