Environment Canada has issued a Severe Thunderstorm watch for the Nation’s region.
We can expect slow-moving thunderstorms to develop this afternoon. These thunderstorms may be capable of producing up to quarter-sized hail, heavy rain and gusty winds.
There is also the possibility of brief, weak funnel clouds. If you see funnel clouds, prepare to seek shelter under cover and away from windows.
Large hail can cause significant damage and injury.
When thunder roars, go indoors!
