Heavy rain is falling on the Nation, with total amounts of 50 to 80 mm expected. Rain if forecast to continue overnight into Monday. Rainfall totals may exceed 80 mm in a few locations, due to thunderstorm activity. The rain will taper off Monday night. Water will likely pool on roads and in low-lying areas. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced at times. Don’t drive through flooded roadways. Watch for washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts.
