Don’t forget to join us at one of three upcoming Siksika Nation Open Houses this October to learn more about four recently approved departmental policies:
- Public Works Policy
- Land Use Policy Amendment
- Rental Housing Policy Amendment
- Affordable Home Purchase Policy
Approved by Ohkinniinaa ki Ninaaiks on June 18, 2026, these policies will help guide housing programs, land management, public works services, and community development across the Nation.
Each open house offers an opportunity to meet with staff, ask questions, learn about the policies, and better understand how they support the delivery of programs and services for Siksika’i’koan.

- Blackfoot Crossing Historical Centre
Staff from each department will be available throughout the events to answer questions and provide information. Food and refreshments will be available at each open house. All events are drop-in and no RSVP is required. All attendees will be entered to win exciting prizes!
We encourage all Siksika’i’koan to attend the location most convenient for them. We look forward to seeing you there and continuing the conversation about these important policies and the future of our Nation.
