We invite members of Siksika Nation to join volunteers from the Calgary Tree Planting team to plant 250-300 Saskatoon berry bushes. Planting will take place south of the Siksika Business plaza on July 16th at 10 AM-2 PM. This is the first step to Siksika Nation’s own saskatoon berry farm that will be utilized and operated by the nation. This farm will provide berries to the community and new economic opportunities for the Nation in years to come.
