Deerfoot Inn and Casino donation to Siksika Nation’s Old Sun Community College

On July 11, 2022, members of Chief and Council, both past and present, attended a signing ceremony at the Deerfoot Inn and Casino  The ceremony signified the relationship between the nation and the facility, and to announce that the Deerfoot Inn and Casino will be donating $10,000 to the nation’s post-secondary institution, Old Sun Community College and its students.

Due to COVID-19, the committee has staggered the dates of the annual fair. Siksika Nation Administration Service Area Update for May 31, 2021

Oki, due to the reduction in risk-level status from Red to Yellow, following the COVID- 19 restrictions implemented by Siksika Health Services. Effective June 1, 2021 the Service Areas can welcome all employees back into the office. This decision will be re-evaluated in line with recommendations and guidance from Siksika Nation Health and the CDC. The Administration will be open for services by appointment only.
