In regards to the recent reports made by Nation members of suspicious vehicles seen parked in residential communities in Siksika, Siksika Nation Chief and Council have met with the Gleichen RCMP this morning to develop a process to report suspicious vehicles in Siksika. Siksika Nation Chief and Council Public Safety Taskforce is working closely with Gleichen RCMP who have identified the following steps Nation members can take to report suspicious vehicles in Siksika: Step 1: Call the Gleichen RCMP at 403-734-3056 to report the suspicious vehicle. Siksika Nation Chief and Council purchased a billboard off of highway 901 that runs through Siksika as a way to shed light on the issue of Missing & Murdered Indigenous Persons including our very own members. Donations will be collected until January 28, 2021 at Siksika Trail Market and the Siksika Petro Gas Station. Proceeds of the food drive will go towards the community food bank.
