Siksika Nation Comprehensive Community Plan (CCP)

Siksika Nation is embarking on completing a Comprehensive Community Plan (CCP). A Comprehensive Community Plan aims to assess all aspects of Siksika Nation and create a plan that will guide Siksika Nation moving forward. To make this plan, it is necessary to gather information and input from all stakeholders.

  • Siksika Leadership has approved a Band Council Resolution that supports the CCP and engagement The CCP planning process will share information between all stakeholders.
  • Niitsitapi will share their vision and values for the plan

    • Blackfoot Crossing Historical Park

    • Siksika Family Services
    • Siksika Health Services
    • Siksika Group of Companies

Phase 1: Initiate and Plan

Phase 2: Prepare, Design and Learn

Phase 3: Empower and Collaborate

Phase 4: Create and Finalize Final Phase: Implementation (ongoing into the future)

Tribal Administration Service Areas – February 2025
Ohkinninaa and Ninnaaks – Ongoing
Niitsitapi – May 2025. To be announced at a later date.
