Oki, Siksika Nation members,
- Insurance Adjusters began inspecting damaged homes yesterday, June 18, and will continue their inspection today and throughout the weekend.
- Don’t be alarmed if you see non-native individuals driving around the communities. They will be there to locate units and may be using drones to view the roofs to complete their inspections.
- Adjusters will be accompanied by a Housing staff member at all times
- We have over 100+ units that were damaged by Tuesday’s storm so it will take a few days to get the inspections completed.
- The Housing Department hopes to begin repairs by early next week.
