Siksika Media started over 25 years ago with just a monthly newsletter available to Siksika Nation members. Around that same time a small very low power (10 watts) radio station was also introduced to the Nation and the rest is history.

Both forms of media proudly showcase and promote not only the Siksika (Blackfoot) language, but the pride of being Siksikawa and our culture.
Aitsiniki is the Blackfoot word to describe someone telling a story.
AITSINIKI
Aitsiniki is a 24 page magazine that is published by Siksika Media, a department of the Siksika Nation Tribal Administration. It serves as a platform to share news, stories and events from Siksika Nation and highlights programs and services available to Nation members. Aitsiniki Magazine is available in both print and online at Aitsiniki.com.
The publication distributes 500 copies through local organizations and businesses on the reserve and through our Calgary offices monthly.

CFXX 104.7 FM
Siksika’s local radio station CFXX 104.7 FM plays the best pop, rock, country and powwow. The Nations’ station serves Siksika Nation members who live in and around Siksika, with a further global reach via our online streaming presence.
