SIKSIKA NATION STATE OF LOCAL EMERGENCY UPDATE for January 14, 2024 The State of Local Emergency (S.O.L.E.) in Siksika will remain in effect today as temperatures remain around -30 today and into the night as a precautionary measure. Project: West Regional Wastewater System Study

Project Overview: Siksika Nation’s Engineering Services has hired ISL Engineering and Land Services (ISL) to complete a study for a new regional wastewater system on the community’s west side. The project is needed because the current system has minimal to no remaining capacity and is reaching its end of life. To ensure that the system continues to serve the community’s wastewater collection and disposal needs, a new unified system must be planned, designed, and constructed.
