June is recognized as Pride month around the globe and we want to acknowledge the LGBTQ+ community from Siksika Nation.
We as a Nation must continue to ensure that inclusivity and equality are represented within our family and community. It is everyone’s responsibility to create healthy and protective environments for our children, family members, and elders, including those who identity as LGBTQ+. Through education, awareness, and understanding, we must lead by example and help one another.
