Due to the recent heavy rainfall and the amount of moisture still present in the ground, Siksika Nation Public Works Roads Department will not be able to deploy road grading and gravel until road conditions allow our heavier machinery to travel without causing further damage to roads. Work will commence today, June 4, 2026, on roads that are dry enough for our heavier machines.
To report flooded roads, washouts, drainage issues, blocked culverts, or other road-related concerns, please contact the Public Works Roads Department during regular business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) at 403-734-4388.
For urgent road-related concerns after hours, on weekends, or during holidays, please contact the Public Safety After Hours Emergency Line at 403-734-3815.
