Oki Siksika,
Project Forest, in partnership with Siksika Nation, will be hosting corporate tree planting events on Nation land from Thursday 10 September to Friday 25 September 2026. These events bring funding partners into the field to plant seedlings as part of the Siksika Nation Community Shelterbelt Program, helping to support Siksika’s vision for community resilience and ecological restoration.
Planting sites will vary day-to-day but will take place in accordance with the map provided. Siksika community members are welcome to stop by and learn more about the work during this period.

All Nation Members are invited to a complimentary community barbeque to celebrate another year of planting Siksika Nation’s Community Shelterbelt. This year, we planted over 200,000 trees and shrubs and invited 260 Corporate Planters to join us out in the field.
Bring your friends, your family, and their friends as well as we gather over shared food and a shared vision for Siksika’s growing landscape.
