Please be advised that garbage pickup schedules will be temporarily adjusted over the next two weeks due to upcoming statutory holidays (Indigenous Peoples Day – June 22, Siksika Fair Day – June 26, and Canada Day – July 1) and current operational impacts at the transfer station. At this time, large item pickups and the Community Clean-Up program is on hold until further notice.
Next Two Weeks:
Garbage pickup will take place:
- June 22: No collection
- June 23: Map 1, 2 & 4
- June 24: Map 3, 3A, 3B, 3C, 3D
- June 25: Map 5, 7 & 11
- June 26: Map 8, 9 & 10
- June 29: West area of Siksika – garbage will be picked up
- June 30: East area of Siksika – garbage will be picked up
- July 1: No collection, transfer station closed. (Stat)
- July 2: No collection, transfer closed. (Closed)
- July 3: No collection, transfer closed. (Stat)
Following Week
Garbage pickup will occur on Monday, June 29 and Tuesday, June 30 only.
- We will do our best to ensure all garbage is collected during this adjusted schedule.
- Members are welcome to bring their garbage to the transfer station if needed.
- Due to the transfer station disruptions and increased demands during the Siksika Fair period, our team is working extended hours to maintain service levels.
Please ensure your garbage is set out appropriately. We appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued cooperation during this time.
