Siksika Emergency Management is providing an update on the condition of the Bow River.
River Conditions & Safety
- River Flow: While the Bow River’s flow rate has risen significantly, it remains well within its banks. Main river flooding is NOT being forecast. We are diligently monitoring the situation and will provide updates as necessary.
- Low-Lying Areas: The Nation is experiencing some minor flooding in low-lying areas near the river.
- Caution Advised: Please continue to exercise caution around the riverbanks. Additionally, use extra care when navigating roads, which are currently slick and unstable due to the rain.
