June 15, 2026 – Today, Siksika Nation Chief and Council met with the Indigenous Services Canada Regional Director General Jocelyn Andrews and her staff during the Assembly of Treaty Chiefs (AOTC) assembly.
Leadership engaged in productive discussions with ISC regarding the priorities and needs of our people as we navigate an increasingly complex and uncertain world. Topics included strengthening services for our Nation, addressing emerging challenges, and ensuring our community is well-positioned to respond to issues affecting our future, including global instability, foreign conflicts, and the ongoing discussions surrounding Alberta’s future within Confederation.
The meeting was constructive, and we look forward to continuing to work collaboratively to advance the interests and well-being of Siksika Nation members.
