SIKSIKA NATION MEMBERSHIP TRIBUNAL NOTICE
Membership Application Deadlines and Tribunal Schedule (2025–2026)
Dear Siksika Nation Members,
The Siksika Membership Department would like to inform Siksika Nation members of the upcoming 2025–2026 Membership Tribunal schedule and Membership application deadlines. All membership applications will need to be submitted by the deadlines provided in order for their applications to be tabled at the Membership Tribunal Meeting.
As outlined in the Siksika Nation Membership Code and Regulations, all applications must be complete to be accepted for review by the Tribunal.
Tribunal Meeting Schedule:
Tribunal Meetings are scheduled for Wednesdays from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on the dates below:

Please Note: There will be no Tribunal meetings in April 2025, July 2025, or January 2026.
Important Application Information:
By Article 4 of the Membership Code and Section 39 of the Membership Regulations:
Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
- All applications must be submitted using the prescribed forms available through the Membership Office.
- Required documents include:
- An original Birth certificate – no copies
- Proof of Blackfoot (Siksika) blood quantum
- Parent and grandparent membership verification (as applicable)
- Current contact information for service of documents
Application Fees:
- A $10 Application Fee is required for all applications.
- A $250 Deposit (non-refundable) is only required for Band Transfer Applications, with an additional $750 due upon successful completion of the probation period.
We encourage all prospective applicants to submit well in advance of the deadlines to allow for internal processing.
