Oki Siksika,
Siksika Nation Public Works, together with several Siksika Nation departments, is launching a large-scale community clean up initiative across all 13 community subdivisions.
Our Crews will be:
- Cleaning fence lines and roadside ditches
- Removing large household items placed by the roadside on day of clean up
- Assisting with the removal of community eye sores
- Providing garbage bags and PPE for community members who wish to participate
Cleanest Yard Contest
While Crews are out cleaning, they will be on the lookout for the Top 3 Cleanest Yards on Siksika Nation.
Winners will receive Trail Market gift cards, free swag, and of course the bragging rights!
Community BBQ and cleanest yard awards presentation will be held at the:
- Public Works main office on the final day of the Cleanup Initiative – July 9, 2026.
