Water Use Restriction in Immediate Effect

Attention Siksika Community Members:

Siksika Public Works has detected a potential break in the main water line affecting the Siksika Pumphouse. This issue is impacting water supply to the following communities: West G, Deerfoot NTN’s, East Siksika, and Suzy Slough.

Effective Immediately: To minimize water consumption, all use of water for gardening, sprinklers, and pools is prohibited. We urge all residents in the affected areas to restrict water use to the absolute minimum while we assess and address the situation.

Water trucks are in route to support the mainline water supply, and we are utilizing all available resources to secure water supply at minimum consumption levels.

We appreciate your cooperation as Public Works staff are on-site, investigating the damage and working towards a permanent solution.

Please report any suspected leaks or unusual visible pools of water to Malcolm Peigan at (587) 340-2440.
