This winter just does not want to let us go!
This morning, Environment Canada has updated their weather statement and is now issuing a Yellow Warning for snowfall.
We are now expecting 10 – 20 cm of snow from Canmore to Calgary to Strathmore and areas southeast, which will likely impact Siksika. The roads on and near the Nation are already becoming icy and snow is building up on the roads. The heaviest snow is expected to last throughout the afternoon.
Travel will be challenging; roads and walkways will be difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. There may be a significant impact on traffic, and visibility will be reduced at times.
Allow extra time for travel, and ensure your vehicle is equipped in the event you become stranded.
