Oki Siksika, we have heard and understand the concerns about recent changes to Siksika Parks & Recreation facility and space rental costs. The adjusted rates are necessary to support ongoing operations including facility upkeep, equipment maintenance, staffing, and program development that benefit our entire community. We will provide updates about our facilities and programs so you can see how these investments serve our shared community space.
Please know that for wakes and funerals, the process will not change: Siksika Nation members may continue to have rental costs covered by Membership. For information about this please contact Ida Duck Chief at 403-734-5135.
