We are waiting for the repair schedule to be provided by Westcor Construction, the repair partner who is in charge of the program. On November 1st, 2023 Siksika Nation Chief and Council organized a community information session at the Siksika Piikapsi Memorial Arbour to provide information on the TOPGAS and OMAC Specific Claim.  In a statement released by Chief and Council in October 2023, the claim relates to Canada’s collection of royalties for gas produced on Siksika’s Reserve. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Sept. 28, 2023 Siksika Nation, AB – A Siksika Nation member has filed a human rights complaint against Alberta Health Services and Strathmore District Health Services in response to systemic, anti-Indigenous discrimination in the healthcare sector.  On August 24, 2023, the Alberta Human Rights Commission accepted a complaint filed by Benedict Crow Chief, whose wife, Myra, passed away in April 2022 after attending at the Strathmore Hospital.
