Public Safety
Siksika Public Safety was established to provide a coordinated effort to provide for the day to day safety , security, and just treatment for Siksika Nation members, staff, and visitors.
Public Safety focusses on programs and services that address matters that contribute to public disorder and unsafe activities on the Nation.
Public Safety works directly with the Public Safety Task Force to ensure a comprehensive and collaborative effort to mitigate public safety matters in the interest of the people and their needs

Programs and Services
Peace Officers
The Siksika Peace Officer program serves as law enforcement for the Nation's laws, and endeavors to improve community safety and the welfare of the Nation's people through education and accountability.
Security
Mobile security officers are out patrolling our community 24/7 to keep our communities safe and making sure businesses stay secure.
Animal Services
Report a dog attack/bite, register your dog, spay and nueter clinics, rehoming your pet and resources.
Bylaw Ticket Information
Justice
Siksika Justice provides both social justice and court justice services for Siksika Nation members. Our Court Workers assist Nation members navigate through the court systems. Our Aiskapimohkiiks program works with Nation members to resolve conflicts through mediation and arbitration.

What Happens when I call 403-734-3815?
When you request assistance from Peace Officers or Mobile Security, what Information do I need to provide?
In order to direct the appropriate resource to your situation, our Dispatchers will ask for pertinent information first- Type of emergency, Name of Caller or of those involved, and a call back number, Address of the property, Map, and house number, If you’re on the road, name of the highway, township, range road or Community name. Giving accurate information ensures emergency responders can locate you as quickly as possible. Be ready to provide this information so that we can ensure that the proper resource attends to your concern.
Dispatchers provide administrative and operational support to the officers on duty. The work is centered around maintaining quality assurance of calls, database entry, file management, and notifying officers of items that require their attention.
We are not an emergency dispatching service and do not provide dispatching services for the RCMP, Ambulance, Fire Department or Poison Control. These services can be accessed by dialing 911.
We also dispatch after-hour call-outs for Housing and Public Works related matters. Should you have a situation that occurs after normal business hours, please call our dispatch centre at 403-734-3815 and we will dispatch an on-call worker to address your concern. Once we dispatch the call to either Housing or Public Works, that department will follow up with you. We only take the initial information and do not conduct follow up, such as response times.
